Plucked Chicken Magazine: Out of Print, First Editions from Will Petersen's estate. A prized journal of art and poetry published by Will Petersen, editor and Cynthia Archer between 1977 - 1980. Issues are in the collections of major university libraries and collected by the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris. A set of the magazines is on permanent display at the Ray Hartstein Campus, Oakton Communtiy College, Skokie, Illinois where the college has designated a permanent memorial exhibit for Will Petersen and the hand lithography workshop: Plucked Chicken Press.
The magazine illustrated with drawings, paintings and photographs contains notable artists and poets: Tom Nakashima, Gary Snyder, Richard Grossinger, Carol Arnett, Cid Corman, David Miller, Barbara Moraff, Soichi Furuta, Ben Freedman, Nathaniel Tarn, Lyn Lifshin, Carl Jacobson as well as Will Petersen among others.
